This CD is broken down into eight separate documents, each of which is designed to teach you a different aspect of Heavy Equipment operation. The first document is a seven page guide to ways to prevent yourself and other from being hurt by carbon monoxide poisoning. First there is an overall explanation of carbon monoxide poisoning. Next ways to control carbon monoxide are discussed. Then there is an explanation of how to evaluate the severity of any exposure. The second document is a 49 page Crawler/Loader Safety Manual broken down into nine easy to read chapters. The first chapter explains that every employer must have a safety program and offers tips to find out what program is in place. Chapter two explains that you can work safer by understanding the equipment, having a familiarity with the area and knowing traffic rules. Chapter three outlines what to do before starting your equipment including making sure it is ready Knowing if the surrounding area is safe and warning personnel of any possible dangers!
