The largest earthquake since 1964 struck Southeast Asia on Dec. 26, 2004, causing tsunamis that
have resulted in the deaths of more than 155,000 people. Thousands more are missing or injured,
and millions have lost their homes, families, and livelihoods. You can help by donating to relief
efforts.
Sellers can donate a portion of the proceeds from their auctions by listing an auction as usual.
When creating your auction, check the "Make This a Charity Auction" box. Then select a percentage
of the closing price that you would like to donate to a tsunami relief fund, and choose to donate to
UNICEF, Oxfam, Latter-Day Saint Charities, or Catholic Relief Services. Invoicing and billing will
occur as usual. All fees collected in association with a charity auction will also be donated
to the charity you selected.

Overstock.com will donate all fees from successfully closed items where the seller has elected to donate a percentage of
their selling price to charity. Overstock.com will facilitate the sellers' donations to the charity of their choice.
Overstock.com's donation will be made to the same charity the seller has requested. Sellers select the charity to which
they would like to make a donation from one of the options presented at the time of the item is listed. Record of the
donations will appear on sellers' itemized invoices. In the case of a non-paying bidder, fees will be credited according
to site policy. If the total donation exceeds $250, then the charity will send a receipt directly to the seller. For
amounts less than $250, the seller must keep their own record of these donations for tax purposes. For specific questions
regarding the deductibility and treatment of your contribution, consult your tax advisor. OLister currently does not
support charity auctions.
Privacy Notice:If your donation is $250 or more, Overstock.com will provide your name, billing address and donation amount to the charity of your
choice and that charity will provide you with a receipt for your donation. Overstock.com will not share information about you with any other
organization in any other instance.
